Problems with NutriBullet Customer Service

I wanted to share this to let others know what happens if you have a defective unit and see if any others have stories to share. I'd paste the full text here but it's rather long, I've been "working" with NutriBullet Customer Service for two weeks now to get a defective unit replaced. They suggested I call their Customer Service number and I've tried that half a dozen times or more. I either get one ring then a busy signal, go through voice prompts to the queue then told to call back as the queue is full and most recently I received an automated message telling me that the hold time was very long and they'd call me back.

I've traded 11 emails with their customer service folks and even though the first email told me it would be replaced at no charge, including waving the S&H fee because I'd bought it less than 30 days ago, the latest emails seem to be grilling me to see if I messed it up so they don't have to replace it.

More detail at the link if anyone would like to check it out.

It's pretty obvious they don't intend to replace it. I would report their business practices to the federals and hope that enough complaints rack up that they investigate them.

They didn't show any interest in replacing it until I sent them a link to the post. Within 2 hours I received a call to confirm them shipping a replacement. It's supposed to be here in 7-10 days, I guess we'll see. Still ridiculous you have to go to these lengths to get something done.
