Low-Carb .. what do your daily meals include?

My doctor suggested I go on a low-carb diet.. I tend to eat normally around 100-130 carbs a day but need to get down to 50 or less carbs.

What are some of your meal suggestions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

    Blimey. My uber healthy green smoothie for breakfast has more than the suggested 50 carbs a day. My carbs are around 200 so am not much use to you at all. I suppose you're best to stick to lots of non starchy veges and protein.

    I have been doing Atkins and have had great success with it! My daily carb limit is 20g a day. If you can do that, your body will go into ketosis and burn stored fat for engergy and the weight will melt away quickly! For today for example, I ate 2 fried eggs for breakfast, followed by a low carb (10g) energy bar an hour before my resistance training, a protein shake after for my lunch, then I did cardio, 12 almonds as a snack, a few slices of cheese as a snack, 3 slices of bacon as a snack, and fresh baked salmon for dinner. =15g carbs total for the day.
