Mom of 5

I am a happily married mom of 5 daughters. I have gained most of my weight through pregnancies and am sick of seeing it any longer. I will be 40 in December and want to experience the joy of being thinner. Also, we all know that when you start getting up there in age, your health starts wavering, so I want to get back into shape. I'm really happy that I joined myfittnesspal because I needed to be able to monitor everything I eat and do easily. I can't wait to see what I can do, I pray that I can have great willpower.

    I am also mother to a large family. We have one girl and five boys. Welcome to MFP.
    I know it sound cliche ... But losing weight is 80% diet. Logging food and monitoring calories is the first step.
