Hi everyone! My name is Maria and I am 22 years old. I am studying electrical engineering for the last 4 years, in a college known as very difficult. While trying very hard in my academic life, I neglected my body. Four years ago I was at a healthy weight, as I had been for my entire life without trying, but then I started gaining weight fast, so in two years I gained about 15 kilos (33 lbs). I was living alone and I had too many things to do, so instead of cooking I ate mainly junk food. That made a big difference, esp. since I had always eated very healthily at home. Now I'm overweight, not too far from obesity, and I have finally decided to change things. I want to have once again a healthy body, and (upon achieving that) I want to never be overweight again.
I have also vowed to give to charity my big clothes as soon as they become too loose.
