Big difference shoveling snow

Having just finished shoveling the driveway and sidewalks for the 3rd time in 24 hours, I have to point out the obvious:
Shoveling snow is a LOT easier when you have been consistently strength training for 10 months.
Last year, this would have wiped me out for the afternoon. Now I hardly even notice it.
(I still would rather have a snowblower......)

Where are you located? I'm in Michigan and we're getting a lot of Lake Effect Snow right now- I've shoveled 3 times today also

We had 8" of snow, one day coming out of the east then the next day it came out of the west plus this morning it was minus 30 degrees and that was without any wind. I will be honest, I have not left the house except to go push out a stuck car in my driveway (an idiot that should not even have been out) and with the wind and the cold my husband has only shoveled in front of doors. He's a grain hauler so he's the pro with the shovel and I will let him be!!! I have been doing the P90X with Insanity for the next 90 days! I hope to see some results!!! My husband just said yeah a snowblower would be nice!!!! LOL0

What a great feeling...congrats!!!:drinker:
Yes a snowblower is still better...we bought one half-way through last winter after the 71 record breaking inches we got! This year we've had 11 inches that has all melted in a matter of days...so if you want no more snow next year...buy a snow blower:laugh: :laugh:0 -
I hear ya on that! I shoveled twice today.....the first time I wore my HRM, shoveled for 45 minutes and burned 400 calories!!! Every year before this one I couldn't do the whole driveway at once, I would have to take a break to finish the rest. But today, I finished and almost wished that I had more driveway to shovel....ok, not really but I wasn't nearly as tired as I have been in years past. GREAT feeling! However, I would still like to live somewhere with a warmer climate.....but, I'm stuck in Michigan for the time being0
