Which calorie count do I believe? MFP or the machine?

I just did 28 minutes of moderate-high intensity on the Orbitrek (ellpitical). According to the machine, which is about 12 years old to my knowledge, I burned 214 calories.
According to My Fitness Pal, I burned 279 calories.
Which amount do I go with? I’m inclined to go with MFP because it takes my current weight etc into account, and the elliptical can’t, obviously. It doesn’t even know how much I weigh.
Your thoughts, please?

Neither. Get a heart rate monitor. It's the only way to know for sure.0
