I am allergic to poultry, so I am having a tough time coming up with a healthy lifestyle diet. Any ideas? I seem to always end up going back to fast food because I cant ever get the nutrition down. Dont want that to happen again.

Pork, fish, and lean beef are good options.

You don't have to eat poultry to avoid fast foods.

Try new foods or here are some suggestions for protein:

    fish- tuna, salmon, tilapia...
    pork
    lean ground beef

Are you allergic to eggs too?

Fish, lean beef, beans and pulses, tofu, quorn etc are all good low calorie protein sources.

I'm vegetarian, and my typical protein sources are soy-based meat analogs, beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, eggs, yogurt, and cheese. I use soy protein powder and protein bars sometimes, too.

Allergic to Poultry! That is no fun. Most of the meat in my diet consists of chicken; I can understand how hard that would be. If I am not eating chicken I have soups or sanwiches. I actually enjoy veggie wraps and have lately come around to trying sushi. Steamed shrimp and vegetables is always delicious. Great ideas from everyone else. I tend to forget how broad my protein choices are.
