Trying to work out calories for Spatchcock minus the skin?

Done a quick google search but can't find how many calories in a Spatchcock - and if i remove the skin? They look like tiny chickens!

Are you supposed to remove the skin? Maybe I should Google before I say something we'll all regret.

Well, most of us. Welll, most of you.

It looks like a style of cooking to me...is it like a cornish hen? And then they said it is also a young chicken less than a few weeks old...

I suppose you could treat it like chicken then, and the calories would depend on you roasting with or without the skin...

Cornish Game Hen would be pretty close. It should be in the database! Good luck!

    Edited after I Googled it!
It a method of deboning poultry so you can butterfly or grill it flattened!

    they *are* chickens.

    deboned whole chickens.

So, calculate for which pieces you ate, as boneless skinless _________, however many ounces you ate.

Spatchcocking is a way of preparing poultry or game birds. It is butterflying them by removing the backbone.

So basically 1 chicken minus whatever calories are in the backbone?
In my opinion it's just easier to eat the backbone to avoid having to do the maths on that.

You aren't trying to start a debate on whether or not to eat backbone calories are you?

People know everything on this site. Even stuff that should be a Monty Python skit.

Really Spatchcock, with no explanation. O.P you knew we would all be intrigued. And now I learned a new word.

As far as I can figure an average sized Spatchcock is about 500 to 600 calories.
