Too young

I hate it when people say 'oh you're too young to be worrying about your weight". I would rather become healthy at a younger age and live a long life than wait until it's too late and I have a medical issue or something. Actually I already have a medical condition that I was born with (a type of anemia) but it would probably get worse if I don't get healthier.

You are absolutely correct, as long as you are trying to maintain a healthy weight.0

You're never too young to learn to make healthy choices. Good luck to you0

You're not too young, in fact, you are doing the right thing by getting a handle on your weight before it gets out of control.
I sure wish I knew all I know now at 18. Now I have to lose weight due to pre-diabetes and back ache. Even after I lose it, the stretch marks and saggy skin will be there!
There are going to be people who try to sabotague your efforts. If it's not your age, they'll find some other reason why you shouldn't lose weight. Often, it's because they are insecure about their own weight and feel better to be surrounded by other overweight people.
You are going to look hot and just ignore those people!0 -

I agree, but at a young age, it should be about health more than weight.
You should be active, eat mostly healthy items, and absolutely not obsess about the scale.0 -
And ballet dancers are typically under weight and under developed. Please be healthy!0

WORD. My parents and everyone else in my fam always used to tell me I didn't have to worry about being fit and losing weight and eating properly because I would have lots of time to do that when I was 50, and kids have a "great metabolism" and blahhhhhh blahhh. wellllll....... I disagree. The earlier you start living a healthy lifestyle the more it becomes second nature to you, so you DON'T hav to worry about losing weight when you're older because you already have those healthy habits ingrained into you.0
