CRAVINGS!! HELP!!!

So, my job had a bday party 4 me last Friday.. We had cake, ice cream, chocolate strawberries, cake pops & alot if yummy food. I didnt go crazy on the food/sweets, in fact I had 1 slice of cake and I even ate my 2 cake pops the next day! It seems like every since that day, I cant seem shake the cravings of "like cakey" things & sweets, oh and late night cravings. I do remember this actually happen at our last work party, where I went through a day (after) of sweet cravings, however I was able to get rid of the cravings quick. So, why am I having such a hard time shaking my bad habits this time? Its like I got a taste of the stuff that I used to love and now I can't get it out of my system! If someone can help me out.
