I love love love the skin on salmon!!!
Well since I've been logging my calories and fat, I've been tossing it out. Do you think a 3 ounce salmon fillet is 175 calories/10 grams of fat, with or without the skin? I'd really like to eat it tonight, yummie! I've heard that's were most of the fat is.

That would be with the skin. A 3 oz. salmon fillet (without the skin) is about 100 calories.0

Not sure... I just tried looking around online, and one type of salmon I found, with skin, was 59 cal per oz. So I'm guessing 175 is with skin.
Just a guess though. Don't hold me to it0 -
Darn dang darn, I could have been eatting it the past few times then! I'm soooo eatting salmon skin tonight!!! And I'm really carful with the calorie count, I won't go over, so those day's I threw the skin out, just so I could eat "fatty salmon" I could have been eatting 75 more calories :grumble: Thanks, i tried to google it as well and was having trouble, thanks for the info :happy:0
