This is not easy, especially if you have to lose a lot of weight. But somehow you have to change your focus. If all you think about is the delicious food you have to give up of course you won't be motivated. You have to concentrate on what you're getting in exchange: Health, self-confidence, more energy, etc.

A lot of people claim they want to change, but they don't process that change means change, not a minor adjustment.
  • Takes discipline, no question, but anything worth doing does. Don't sacrifice, but don't gorge either. Allow yourself a little leeway in order to be happy, because if you're not happy with what you're doing then there will be no long term results. Keep it up. You're stronger than your urges. I believe in you. :)

I separate my calories into two piles. 80% of them goes to feeding my body what I know is good for it. Lean meats, vegetables, fiber, things that help me hit my macros every day. The other 20% I spend however I want. Bread, ice cream, cookies, candy, juice, whatever I feel like that day. It keeps me sane and that helps me stay on track.

I have finally accepted the reason that I yo-yo is that I didn't accept that this is my new life - I think this is the biggest battle in weight loss. You lose some weight and figure now you're thinner and can just go back to how you were.. doesn't work that way. Forever thin means forever change. Note - I am not saying GIVE UP anything (unless you absolutely HAVE TO) just change your relationship with food/workouts forever
