Getting over vacation

How do others get over that "vacation rut?"

I went to Cancun last weekend, and came back 3lbs heavier then when I left. I expected weight gain, but did not expect to feel so drained all this week. I've only exercised once since returning, and it was for 53 minutes. Also I've been starving, and feel like there is not enough food in my calorie range that I can eat to combat the feeling. I drink plenty of water, and that's not helping either.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? How do you get back to exercising, and control that constant hunger feeling?

    I'm on holiday right now & due home tomorrow think I've gained about 7lbs but most will be water weight... I plan on doing lots of exercise plenty of water & lots of protein to keep me full as I know it'll be a shock to the system once I start afresh Sunday
