Powerlifting

Started powerlifting/working with free weights (the heavy ****) back in May. Anyone else do this? Helps keep the skin tight, muscles much more defined, and burns fat, too. Starting weight was 200, down to 180 now. Been doing Intermittent Fasting for two months and see huge improvements. Started in August, big difference by September.
stats:
squat - 265
deadlift - 265
bench - 125

I started in May too. What did you notice the IF helping with? Weight on the bar or weight off of your body? Been contemplating this for a while...

My weight on the bar has plateaued, although i have recently PR'd on my deadlift while fasting. So, i've been doing 185 for reps on squat and deadlift since the fasting started, 95 on bench. Up to 195 for my deadlift though. The IF has definitely helped in burning body fat/bringing my BMI down. It may not be showing on the scale, but the IF helps in those two areas. I'd reccomend it if you're committed. My eating window is normall from 2pm-8pm, and I'm consuming 1700 cals/day. High protein diet as well.

Been at it for a lil over a year. You definitely can't keep adding weight forever eating a deficit. Once you lose all the fat you want and switch to a surplus, your work set weights can explode if you go with a high frequency low volume beginner strength routine. Your numbers are already pretty good for a 4 month lifter of any gender, much less a woman on a calorie deficit.

Side question, are you doing free weight barbell back squats going parallel or below?

Going below parallel on my squats (yes free weight barbell). Have a difficult time going ATG, working on it slowly. And yes I know I can't add weight, but the other day I just knew I could do more. I'll be cutting for a while. When I start eating at maintenance, I'll do a 5x5 routine and my lifts will soar.

Maintenance alone might not do it, but of course you can experiment and see
