New to this whole MFP, I'll be honest and say I never cared how I looked until recently. Junk food all the time, smoking and drinking certainly didnt help. Ive recently started biking about 8.5 miles regularly and weight lifting but the weight isnt coming off like I thought it would. Am I doing something wrong?

Not knowing what your expectations were....all I can say is that you're definitely doing three things right: biking, weight lifting and joining MFP...
The best advice I got when I joined here was to buy a digital scale--for my food, not me lol--I got a cheap one at Walmart and have been keeping myself strictly accountable as I adjust to much healthier eating. So far for me the biggest payoff is coming from improving my nutrition.
