Hi all,

When I joined MFP, I had a goal of losing 14 kgs (30 lbs). I have reduced by 6 kgs (13 lbs). Everyone says that I have slimmed. I see myself as slimmer in the mirror. The weighing scale says I have reduced. Unfortunately, the tape says ptherwise. My measurements have reduced like this -

Waist (at belly button) - 41 inches to 40 inches
Hips - (41 inches to 40 inches)
Neck - stayed at 17 inches.

I swear my neck has reduced. I can see it in the mirror.

What exactly is going on. Why am I not seeing substancial reducion in sizes? Any guesses?

All help will be appreciated.

Thanks

  • Your initial weight loss is going to be a lot of water, so maybe even 6-7lbs of it, which is why you're not seeing a huge difference in your measurements, in my opinion.
