36 pounds down and 9 months later, I have finally gotten out of the "obese" range in BMI!!!! I have been going slow and steady since January, and today I finally broke that magic barrier number that makes me "only" overweight....
I still have 19 pounds to go to reach my goal weight, but so glad to have finally made it on the other side of that range!!! And also very glad to only have 19 pounds to go!! Hoping to get to my goal weight by Christmas, or shortly after....wish me luck!!
Thanks to all my friends and strangers who support me on this site!!

Well done, who would have thought that being classified "overweight" was goal apart from us [not you any more] obese folk
I have about 7lbs to go before I am "just" overweight again0 -
Fantastic! Congratulations!0

I just joined MFP yesterday and thanks for helping me choose a goal! THAT makes sense!0

It is a wonderful feeling -- congrats!
I just got back bone density test results, the highlight of which was being described as an "overweight female" as opposed to my results in the early 2000s being described as a "morbidly obese female" and in 2010 as an "obese female." . New goal, next bone density test, I want to be a "normal female".0 -

Keep it up!
I cannot wait to get out of this area! Nearly there though!
