I've lost almost 40 pounds and countless inches on my get fit journey so far. My problem is that my "top half" is where it needs to be and my other half needs to lose 20 + pounds more. How can I get there and not be a "bobble" head as my niece calls it. My profile pic is from the beginning of my journey. I broke my ankle in May so I can't do intense cardio right now. I'm walking and doing a Zumba Abs DVD (punching and twisting on the part that they're doing the "crazy" footwork that I can't do right now).

Do more lower body workouts:
*Running (tones the legs)
*Cycling/Biking
*Hiking/Walking
*Swimmin (great total body workout)
Stregnth Training:
*Squats
*Lunges
*Bridge
*Jumping Jacks
*Rockstar Jumpes
*Jumping Squats
*High Knees
*Front Kicks

Don't think you can really decide where the fat comes from and each person has a different profile. That being said if you work on toning the muscles in the area of concern you will probably make them look better. I don't know much about it as it seems to affect ladies more but cellulite is a likely concern in the lower area and some gyms offer "treatment" to help this. In particular I am thinking "Red Light Vibratory Therapy" and Hard massage from Hydro-beds and leg massage chairs. Plant Fitness has these I think. Anyway they work a lot like the "Jiggling" machine my mom had. Big strap that goes around the problem area (hers was Thighs) and jiggles the heck out of you. I think the idea was to "Break up" the cellulite so it can be flushed. Like I say not my area of study but just thought I would throw it out there. No Idea as to its efficacy.0
