Watching Exercise Videos on Laptop and Working out?

OK. So, I have just that question for those of you who have done this. How do you do it? I've found some good workouts online, but have always done my workouts from DVDs. I wished there were a USB cable that enables you to transfer it to a bigger screen...LOL! Any pointers, if there are some out there?

I use my laptop. I work out in my bedroom and put it on top of my dresser which is a good height to see it. When they go down to the floor I just grab my laptop and bring it down on the floor next to me. It was kind of a pain at first but I'm used to it and I don't have a TV in my bedroom so there's no other option.0

I use my HDMI cord to plug into my computer and TV. Whatever is on my computer will show on my TV. But I know some laptops do not have a HDMI hook up. But most of the time I use my laptop because someone is always using the TV for something else. It's annoying most of the time.0

Since my family doesn't have a TV, I get the DVDs and run them on my laptop. Which as someone already mentioned just means that you have to readjust when going up or down, and the volume sometimes sucks. But it can work:)0

If you want to watch from laptop to tv often just buy a box that you can hook them both up - the last time I bought one it was around $25 at best buy.
If your laptop has a S-video port you can try that too.0 -
Wireless...Buy appleTV. $99. Plugs into any TV with HDMI connection. You need WiFi.
Otherwise just plug laptop into TV directly or use plain old DVD player.0
