Jillian Michaels Whey Protein Powder in Canada?

Hi all,

I'd like to try the Jillian Michaels protein powder. Does anyone know if its available in Toronto? I'm horrible at eating breakfast and would like to start having protein shakes instead of my coffee.

i didn't even know Jillian Michaels had a whey protein powder let alone it being in Canada! lol

I just get the Weider Daily Protein & Fibre (naturally chocolate) powder in the Real Canadian Superstore/Loblaws and really like it... it's naturally sweetened with Stevia (and has fibre not just protein!) but now i'll have to see if i can find this JM one and comare!

Thanks, I'lll check Walmart. What did you think of it? I heard its suppose to be the most natural, not a lot of filler crap that some of the others have. Did it have a bad after taste? I hated Vega because of that.

I use her Whey Protein powder every day! I use the vanilla kind and love it! I use a handful of ice, 1/2c almond milk, one scoop of powder and about 1-1/2 cup of your fav fruit and turn the blender on :) I buy it at Walmart also :) If for some reason your walmart in canada doesnt carry it on hand-- you can order from Walmart''s website and have it shipped to a store for free :)

I don't live in Canada, but just wanted to say, there is nothing special about her whey protein, and it is usually much more expensive then other brands, such as body fortress or six star.

In the area of protein powder, I only use Syntrax Nectar, which is fruity and fresh instead of creamy like a milkshake. The creamy protein drinks are kind of gross to me, but the Syntrax is super refreshing, and awesome after a sweaty, hot workout. :)

I ended up ordering it from well.ca. It came super fast. I've been having the Vanillia mixed with low fat milk, yogurt and frozen blueberry. Yummy! Tomorrow I will try the chocolate one.

Jillian Michaels Protein Powder is actually simply Pure Protein brand whey protein rebadged with JM's name and picture on it. It's okay for low end stuff but it's nowhere near as good as a lot of the medium to high end stuff such as Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard 100% Whey or other similar brands.

Personally I avoid any brand of supplement that you can buy at Wal-Mart such as Six-Star, Body Fortress, or Pure Protein/JM because the quality tends to be pretty low. Of the cheapo Walmart brands though Pure Protein/JM is undoubtedly the best. Like I said though it's nothing compared to what you would purchase from an actual supplement store.
