    Okay....for October I'm going for 75 miles, having surgery on the 17th so only doing half of what I used for September. Thanks for doing the challenge again this month!!

    Got up for my run this morning and got started- about 1.75 miles into it, my head and heart were just not there (going through some personal stuff at the moment, and stressing something fierce) and I started cramping up. So, I cut it a little short and plan on going back out a little later to finish it off- or to just do it over. Just need to get my head together first!

    10-1: 8 mi
    10-2: 2 mi (so far- will be adding more)

    Total- 10 mi

    Goal- 100 mi

    Help! I created my ticker at ticker factory.com but how do I pull up the ticker I created. Everytime I go back there I have to create a new one; I know there is another way..

    Hello and thank you for this challenge! I will be aiming to complete 70miles this month so far I've completed 7 miles. See you Thursday when I check in! Are we supposed to check in after each run or at the end of each week?

    Aninamika, most people check in daily but check in as often as you can. Dinos tracks our miles in a spreadsheet that he updates daily. If you want to stay in the Lime Green (on track for your goal) it's best to check in often. Here are instructions from Dinos:

    "This is the 24th consecutive month we've been running this challenge. I'm tracking it at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0As57uSwFQUGJdC1OU0dvNEdQSXpWQzhfYjdTb1plWnc#gid=80

    Remember to post DISTANCE moved so far. Keep in mind that the challenge is about miles, NOT minutes, NOT calories, NOT pounds lost, just distance moved. FYI the average monthly distance covered by each @ss-mover is 61 miles."

    As for me, I walked 3 miles today. Tomorrow is my long run day so I should be well on my way to my goal when I complete that.

    Left for a 2 mile run this morning, but the weather was so nice (read: cloudy, 10C, cool wind :laugh: ), so I ended up running 4.11 miles.
