Home-made Gatorade for my awesome long runs!

I have to share this!
I am pretty close to my goal weight and I really enjoy my long runs (>10 miles). Also, I have moved on to a very different life style that attempts to exclude all instances of putting in 'garbage' or 'junk' inside my body.
And, that means with my long runs gatorade is not an option. (Oh, with its artificial colors and all that!) There are many home-made gatorade recipes on the internet. I have to share mine. Not only because it is mine and great, but also (and especially because) it has been doing wonders for me. I have not bonked in a long time. My body doesnt weep or complain in pain. Everything is so good!
And, if I can share and motivate others out here to try that will be great!
Here is the recipe and it doesnt get any simpler:
Electrolyte replacement thingy: (for lack of a better word- I dont like calling it Gatorade)
Base:
Water
Sea Salt/Himalayan salt- to taste (I go by taste because I trust that my body knows better. Some people are more salty sweat-ers than others. I would say- find out how much salt works for you.)
Raw Agave nectar- till it makes my drink just the perfect sweet! (It is low glycemic sweetener and doesnt send my blood sugar levels on a roller coaster as I hit those hills.)

Flavor: I sometimes add stuff to make it flavorful. Here are two of my successful experiments:
1) Fresh squeezed lemon
2) I boiled some beet (for color and beet-awesomeness) and some ginger in little water the night before my long run. I added the salt and agave nectar and man! it was the best pink drink ever! (I think ginger even calmed my stomach during the run!)

(Please do share your experiments with your homemade Gatorade!)

I also have a pre-race recipe that DOESNOT include pasta. And, surprise, it has been doing great! Will post it sometime later!

Happy running!
