MFP exercise tracking

Does anyone else find it silly that strength training does not burn calories on mfp?
I am doing strength training on a circuit at the gym which keeps my heart rate at a working level through out, therefore I log this as circuit training but cut the time I did it in (If I spent 45 mins at the gym, I would log 30 mins) as it's not quite as intense as the circuit training I'd do at Muay Thai.
I have also read people on here expressing their dissatisfaction with the exercise tracker for calories burnt. It's not such an issue for me as I am not looking to lose any weight, just shift my fat/muscle ratio.
What do you guys think?
