Help! Clover Mites on the house? How do you kill them?

I wonder if anyone else has a problem with these clover mites. They are red bugs that cling to the side of your house. I didn't notice them in the spring but I got lots of them this Fall. Just noticed them last week and they are like multiplying. They have a couple treatments on the internet but just wondering if anyone here has them and how they kill them??. I want to get rid of them before they get in the house. I guess I can call terminix or someone like that but wanted to see if I could just do it myself first. Thanks for the info!
