Step Aerobics Help

I have been wanting to try the step aerobics and bought the one with Low Max DVD by Cathe. I felt like such a clutz. I was 3 moves behind when she said "Let's mambo" and I said "WHAT?!?". I got frustrated and discouraged in less than 5minutes. Any suggestions to get this uncoordinated girl going on this step? Thanks.

I used to love step, but my knees can't really take it anymore. I promise it gets better with time. The first time I did step, I was always up when everyone else was down, etc. but it got better, and it was fun. My gym rarely offers step.0 -
I love doing step aerobics but have learned the basic steps and their names at the gym. You need to start at the very basic beginnings, with clips where there is little choreography. They will repeat the basic steps (plus names) often, until you've internalized them.
