Runny Nose!

As I've started to get in the swing of things of regularly working out, I've noticed something kind of weird... my nose starts to run really bad! I usually do cardio; jogging on the treadmill or using an elliptical machine and I've noticed my nose starts to run and gets worse as the workout continues. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is normal, what causes it, and when will it stop?! Thanks!

Yeah, I think it's normal because as you exercise, you are opening your bronchials and your capillaries are expanding. The increase in metabolism associated with it, causes the mucous membranes or internal skin tissue within the nose and sinuses to produce more mucous...
If it's really annoying, then see your doctor, but I think it's quite common. I get runny nose, and post nasal drip and feel like I need to spit all the time.0
