Experimenting today I combined the following:
cascadian farms winter squash ( comes frozen - 1 cup ) microwave 4 minutes
microwave first then add the following:
1 tbsp blackstrap molasses ( preferably unsulphered ) - blackstrap molasses are high in iron and potassium!
pumpkin pie spice to taste ( probably a few teaspoons )
2 tbsp bobs red mill hemp powder (not a big fan of the protein powders, but had to use it up)
stir it all together. looks and smells like molasses cookie dough, and sort of tastes like it too. was very filling.
about 210 calories, high in potassium, iron and vitamins.
make sure you get the blackstrap molasses, they are higher in nutrients
