Not sure where to start

I'm just getting start. Anyone have any helpful tips?

My advice to someone just starting is always this: Don't focus on the big goals, but focus on the small changes you see and enjoy the process. It is too easy to get discouraged and quit if you only look at the big picture. Relax. Do what you need to do. The change will come. The little ones are your daily rewards and you will start feeling much better long before you reach your goal.
Also, in the beginning if you don't know much about nutrition, eat healthy foods and watch your calories. The rest will make sense later. Don't overwhelm yourself with everything at once.
Find something you enjoy doing. Me- I love to dance. Saturdays are ballet class days and Sundays I have time for me and spend about an hour and a half doing dance videos I enjoy on YouTube. If I did something I hated I would certainly not have burned 950 calories doing it today.
Lastly, don't be afraid of strength training and lifting weights. It is not going to make you look like a dude. It will. however, boost your metabolism, endurance, and overall fitness level.
