Hi Guys,

Have been working hard over the last few months to get just over 40lbs off. Now I am closer to goal I have realised that my goals have changed and getting my weight below 140lbs is not the be all & end all. I got down to goal weight once, then lost the plot with maintenance & piled 9lbs back on. I am currently 5ft 6 & 149lbs with a bf of 28% & want to get this to at least 20% or lower & fight the dreaded wobble. I have let it go in the last month or so but am now back butt kicking, eating a 40/30/30 macro split (carbs 100g per day or less) & training weights 3 x a week & 1hr cardio 5 x a week but as many of you will know it makes you pretty miserable and with a full time job, a 2hr daily commute & 2 kids to look after I feel the support network is what is lacking to get my butt kicked when having a bad day. All advise/support/butt kicking is gratefully welcomed.

    Hi Travistock,
Have you had any luck reducing your BF%? If so, would you mind if I added you as a friend?
I am much older than you. However, I am also trying to do the same thing.

    Please let me know.
    Thanks.
p.s. I do have an open diary for friends. I cheer my friends on. I cheer everyone on here at MFP. :)

i have reduced my bodyfat% since i went to maintenance - i know this because i weigh the same (if not a little more), but i am in smaller jeans! i havent found a reliable way of measuring it - online formulas each give me a different number! i am just going on whether i can see a bit of definition on my stomach or not!! when i can, i know i have lost more fat!!!

of course you can add me.
