men vs woman calorie intake

the average daily intake is around 2000calories per day. read an article today suggesting men are allowed more calories. men are allowed an extra 500 cal a day. Not fair!

Being larger also kills us quicker. Plus woman have to carry more fat than us,
so in the end you get the last laugh :drinker:0 -
Men generally have more muscles (and are taller) hence have higher metabolic rates, UK guidance was always 2000 calories for women and 2500 for men. Concepts like a "ladies steak" ie a smaller portion used to exist to match this reality.0
