Introduction

Hi, I'm Kristy, this isn't my first go round with weight loss. I lost 70 pounds about 5 years ago and for the most part kept it off, I have put 20 back on. I never made it to my goal before but was thrilled to have gotten as far as I did. Now with turning 41 this year it seems lke BAM it's trying rea hard to come back and I'm standing up and saying no way!

I also am a smoker and soon will not be as part of getting healthy I'm giving up the cigarettes, and I know that's going to be difficult but I just have to do it and now I want to as well.

I'm starting with jillian michaels 12 week program for exercise and doing my own tweeked version of WW for food, basically just tracking what, when and how much I'm eating but I do know the points as I followed WW multiple times in the past.

So if anyone has suggestions or wants to be support buddies I'd love to have the support and be able to be someone's support as well. I think we all do better when we have more than one person to turn to. I love my sons and they're really great support but sometimes I need someone who understands it from my perspective.

Have a wonderful day and good luck in everything you do!

Kristy

I have no problem being your friend - I don't smoke but I have had friends who did and I can be some encouragement if you need it!

I gave up 16yers ago - up til then I had tried many times. Somehow, it was time.
    However, it isn't easy.
Probably not a good idea to try both at the same time.

Get the food regime sorted first - that way there should be much less chance of the weight management going pear-shaped when you quit.

    SHOULD BE!

    Best wishes and good luck.

I am usually contacting my confessor daily so can respond to messages if you need support and quite understandably don't want to go so far as committing to a friend invitation.
