New goals for fall!!

Hi, I'm Natty and I'm from Boston. I'm 5'2 and weigh 143 lbs as of this morning. Although this is better than last year (which was around 150), I still really would like to be at around 120-130 lbs.
I've been working at it this summer but without much success. For the fall, I have set a goal for myself to lose 1-2 lbs per week for the next 12 weeks. If I succeed, this will get me to be exactly where I want to be. I have a huge sweet tooth and I also am often tired during the day. To combat this, I have set 5 goals for myself every day:
(1) Write down everything I eat
(2) Stay at around 1200 calories per day
(3) Exercise
(4) Do not eat artificial sugars
(5) Sleep at least 8 hours a day
What do you all think? Does this sound like a good plan? and what do other people have as goal for the fall season?

10/1 - overall went ok. The morning went great. In the afternoon I did have a slip-up and had some cookies my mom gave me as well as some challa bread that was left over from last week - a testament to my carb and sugar addiction!! I decided I would skip dinner in lieu of these and also that I would not exercise because at this point it's too late because the sun is setting. I'm planning to go running first thing tomorrow morning. Now it's off to do laundry. I feel really thirsty for some reason, I think I did not drink enough. Breakfast today was salmon fritters from The Fresh Diet - this is a great company if you don't have time to cook (although it does cost a bit more than buying groceries).0
