After some serious health Issues, I am starting ALL OVER. Tips for motivating myself this go round would be so helpful!

Start by changing just a few things. Then when you have that mastered change a few more things. Don't expect to change your entire lifestyle all in one day and be able to stick to it. You can do it!0

I restarted after a few years being away with some health issues about July. I am so glad I decided to return. After all if I hadn't I would not be where I am now. Feeling better and finding one of the causes of feeling badly.

I agree with what the above poster said but something else that helps me is to set mini goals. Like when I lose 5 lbs I'm going to get my nails done, etc. I have also seen people set up money jars so if they slip up they pay into the jar or whatever then at their ultimate goal use the money for new clothes. So there are alot of ways to do mini goals.
I had lost a bit of motivation a while back and I told myself if I could get to a certain range by a certain time I was going to reward myself with a new bra. Just keep your rewards something that can help you or something that is not food related.0 -
Think of this as a redo. But this redo should hopefully be easier because you've made the changes in the past and you know you can do it again! I find it might be helpful to look at it not as regaining lost ground, but the first day of your new healthier life. Now you just know what you need to do, so there is less angst that a newbie might expereince. Make a list of all the positive things that happened in the past from previous tries when you lost weight, and post it somewhere where you'll see it everyday. Nothing is too small to count!
