Meeting former colleague

As it says, I met a former colleague today whom I hadn't seen for about 15 months - coincidentally the amount of time I've been losing weight for. First of all I got the "I hardly recognised you" bit, then the "How have you done it?" bit, but the bit I liked best was when she called me "thin thin". I'm not, but it felt so good!

"thin thin" That's great! Enjoy the compliments, and take every one as inspiration to keep on track.

Good for you, be proud of yourself.

Go, Anne! I am so looking forward to that experience. I purposely haven't told a lot of people who live far away that I'm doing this because I want to see the shock on their faces when I reach my goal. :)

That's great Anne. It's lovely when people compliment you. My favourite compliment was a few years ago when a friend who hadn't seen me since I lost about 4 stones and got down to my present weight said 'dear goodness - where's the other half of you gone?'
