Getting sloppy about recording calories

I knew it would happen eventually. After several months of being diligent re logging calories on my ipod touch, and losing about 8 pounds, a lot for a 4'11" woman, I'm slacking off. I'm not only forgetting to log and then totally underreporting calories, but I'm nibbling much more, and high carb snacks. I need to get back on track. When my pants started getting a little loose, it felt so good. Not having to suck in my stomach all the time because my tummy didn't look bad -- that felt great. Not having to put food in my mouth every hour of the day -- that felt so good.

So, whatever is starting this downward tailspin, I need to get back on track. I have to remember each day is a new start, and I'm really going to try. Once I get back in the habit of logging what I eat right after I eat it -- or while I'm eating it -- or even BEFORE I eat it -- that's a habit I was in before and I can get back into it.

I'm aiming for longterm lifestyle change, not just dropping 8 or 9 pounds only to put them back on.
