question about daily calorie goals

I don't understand why the daily calorie goals on my plan changes from day to day. One day it's 1600+, next day it's 1500+, and from what I remember the goal I originally set was 1200 calories a day. I realize that I can eat more when I exercise more and still have a net calorie of around 1200, but I don't get why the calorie goal changes each day.

the goal is changing in response to your exercise, if your goal is 1200 and you log exercise of 300 your goal increases to 15000

That makes sense, thanks!0
