My Before and After with Pics

So after talking with a few co-workers and family and friends they all told me that I should show everyone my before and after photos. I am not sure exactly how much I weighed at my peak but I am assuming that I was pushing 300 LBS or so. I was depressed and I basically turned to food to help me cope with anything and everything. I grew up with overweight parents and would basically clean my plate no matter what because it would be a waste if i didnt finish what was given to me.
I learned that I never had any fitness goals but I had a lot of career goals and I have reached and surpassed many of them but what would all of that matter if I can't enjoy my life. My father retired a few years ago and he plays golf as usual but he is always in terrible pain. I looked up to my father and listened to basically every word of advice hes given me. My dad is pretty successful but I look at what good is money and career goals if you live your last years of your life is so much pain. This is when I decided that I need to set fitness goals as well. I was never a runner but I told myself that I would give it a shot. I started with the Cooper River Bridge Run which is a 10K then I did a 8K a few weeks later then Warrior Dash. All were pretty fun but I know that I could do better I dont look at a run as a competition against the other runners I am in competition with myself. I know that I should keep pushing and pushing and strive to do better. I am turning 30 this year and I am rewarding myself with a hike to Mount Kilimanjaro. I lost 60 LBS since December and feel great. I am going to keep on running and trying to challenge myself and keep adjusting my goals. Who knows where I will be next year but I grew up as a fat kid but I am going to die a long and health live. I owe this to myself and my family.
I went from wearing size 40+ pants down to a 33. Size XL shirts to a medium. I am down to 195 LBS as well.
I never posted photos so heres a shot at it.
I had to find my passport for my trip to Africa and opened it up and saw this. My friends say that I am going to enjoy my cavity search. Nov 2008

I cant see them either.0

When you posted them to photobucket, did you choose the link for forums and websites or a different one?0
-
couldn't get it to work, the progress pics on the site do look good though. you can check out the sticky post on how to put up pictures if you're still having trouble. it is on the first page of success stories.0
-
That didnt do it. I just created this photobucket account so I could post photos so I am new to all this.0
-
Edit. I tried to post them with the correct links but there's an error. I was able to view the photobucket album and did see the pics.
Your progress is amazing! Congrats!0 -
For the photos make sure the image code you use has small [ img ], not big 0

On the right side it should have 4 different link types, the 4th one usually is called IMG code. That's the one you want to use but you need to change the IMG at the beginning and end of the link to be lowercase instead of capital letters. That should fix them0
