My Confession

I love this website...and I was doing really well. I was only about 13lbs. from my goal weight. Then, for some reason, I stopped working out and eating right. I think I've been gone for about 2 1/2 months and I'm pretty sure I've gained at least 20lbs. I can't believe that I let it get this far, but on the bright side, I feel like I'm ready to do this now. I took my new before pictures today. Tomorrow, I start back at the gym and hopefully logging my foods again. Why do we do this to ourselves??? I was so close. It's so frustrating, but I know that I have no one to blame but myself.
So, I hope that you all are having more success than I have lately. And Happy New Year to you all.

Well, the great thing about stopping is that you can start again! And you've got a whole network of people to help you through this...welcome back!0

I did the exact same thing to myself....I was closer to my goal than I am now and I kick myself because I gained it back...and then some. I don't know why we allow ourselves to fail, but it's a learning experience. I know now not to slip, and I'm remembering how healthy I felt before. I have no one to blame but myself as well...but I know why it happened. I was at a horrible emotional point in my life, taking care of everyone but myself and letting others pull me down. Needless to say, I cut those people out and now I'm back and ready to move on. Look at your slip as motivation...not a failure. Remember how you felt gaining your weight back and let it push you forward...best of luck to you!!!! We can do this0

I did the very same thing, I was 11 from goal and fell off the wagon big time. I am now 22 from goal. Sigh.
All we can do is pick ourselves back up and get back on track!0 -
I did the same thing to myself. After I had my last baby 20 months ago I weighed 200 pounds even. I had to lose 50 to get to my goal weight of 150. Well, I procrastinated and put it off multiple times and now I have to lose 90 pounds to be at my goal weight. I was overwhelmed by the thought of having to lose 50 pounds lol now I have to lose a whopping 90 but oh well. We're here now right? Good luck!!0
