Is it healthy not to eat when you get depressed

I find when I am really stressed and all I tend not to eat. Some people will go to the frig and eat and eat but I am different. I cannot. I just loose my appetite. Is this healthy. Does any one of an opinion on this. Every time I do my food diary I am always eating less than 1200 calories. I try but if I do I get really sick. I drink plenty of water and have a healthy lunch and drink a lot of tea. Is this normal. Does anyone have an opinion.

Sometimes I wish i was one of those people, I am definitely in the kind who eat more when depressed!! But really, neither is healthy, I guess, to have real disturbance in your diet. But more importantly, however it impacts on your diet or not, feeling depressed is the main problem; physical health is not so much value if you are feeling unhappy, and I think that is the most important thing to address, then with that, the eating habits fall into place a little more.
