So we're getting into the warmer weather here in WA. Today, I had an ice cream :/ I only had it because I wanted the coolness of it. Bad bad bad.

So I went out and bought myself a blender to make some fruit smoothies.

I'd love your favourite recipes! I love fruit and ice ones.

I'm wondering how bad it is to add 250ml of juice to a smoothie though when you're trying to watch your calories.

    Honestly, I LOVEEEE Green Monster smoothies. Here's the one I make.

    3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla soy milk
    1 tbsp peanut butter
    .5 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
    1 small frozen banana chopped into pieces
    2 cups spinach
    Ice (optional)

    It's sooo good and you only taste the pb and banana.

    If you love ice cream, here's a Donna Hay recipe which is essentially blended frozen banana and frozen berries. You can skip the store bought custard to save the calories or replace with yoghurt. Very tasty.

    Thanks! I'm going to try both! This morning it's frozen strawberries with banana and ice and peaches.
