Good day everyone, I don't have a large pool, so doing long laps is pretty much non existent (fine by me :P) but the moving around I am doing is working GREAT!!! I'VE lost weight, toned up A lot with a bonus tan to show off! My question is just how many calories can I log for it. I'll explain, you know how when you're in the ocean and you move ALL of your limbs to keep afloat? Well that's what I'll do except I'll make it a little bit more vigorous and intense, then I'll swim along the walls of the pool kina like the little mermaid Ariel does in the movie and I'll continue that under water the pool brings out the kid in me...tried to break out singing the little mermaid soundtrack until hubby looked at me :P Tee-hee. I'll be in the pool for a minimum of 1 hour doing all what was mentioned non-stop with a little doggy pattle or medium speed back stroke or frog crawl thrown in so not to get bored. I mean the other day we had a cook out and I stayed in the pool for 5 hours doing all of that non-stop andooked amazing after. Please help Thanks so much!!

If you are actually swimming for the whole time I would log it as Leisurely swimming. If you aren't actually swimming the whole time perhaps log half the time as Leisurely Swimming. This is what I do when I take the children swimming and am playing with them in the water as well as swimming lengths.0
