Escalator to fitness...

Taken from my wall this morning... people seemed to like it - so here ya are! :-D
I had an epiphany... Well as much a one as I get at 6:30 am...
I figure "fitness" is like a slow moving downward escalator (a descalator), and every active thing we do is a step upwards.
If we push hard, we can get close to the top, but if we stop, we can ride that thing all the way down to the bottom.
Some days are sprints, some days are slow movers, but each day, we should try to keep moving. The higher you are, the more freedom you have to take tiny breaks - just don't break too long!
Slow steady steps, will climb you upwards - exercise, good food choices will move you upwards... And those massive cal burns, they can boost you up a flight.
Just keep moving peeps!
If you get tired, lemme know and i will come walk with ya for a bit! Maybe push you from behind too (with my foot)!
*yes - at times in the form of a swift kick in the *kitten*!*

hahaha!!! that is funny!
ironically enough... I work in a hospital, in a research center... you cannot get from the main floor to the second floor without taking the elevator. WTF? This is health care and I cannot walk up two flights of stairs even if I want to?0 -
I'm bumping this old thread I made a while ago. Well... because I needed to read it again.
I've been lazy. I've lost some ground. Time to make progress again!0
