New to MFP from Iowa

Hello All, I am new to MFP. I have tried WW in the past and it does work but then I give up. I have been heavy all my life in a skinny family. I have always been very self concious about my weight. I am a mom of two boys age 6 and 8 and I work full time. I work out weekly, I have worked with a personal trainer and continue to take fittness classes that he offers, but it is my eating habits that I struggle with. I typically go to the gym at 5:30 am because it is easier for me to get my workouts done in the morning before my kids are up. Since fall weather has come it has been a little difficult for me to get up in the morning so I need to get recharged and back to going routinely. My goal is to keep track of my food in the food journal. I also struggle with getting enough water, I am completely addicted to diet coke and many times I might just have 2 20oz diet cokes a day and nothing else to drink. I work at a desk job for the most part I sit in front of a computer or I am on the road in my car. I currently weigh 215, my first goal is to get my wieght under 200. I would like to lose 65-70 pounds. I am excited about getting started on this journey and hope to find friends here to share with on this journey.
