My name is Stephanie and I'm 18 years old. I joined MFP in April to lose around 40 lbs. I've been struggling, but I won't hesitate to give up on my UGW! I have been doing Turbo Jam the past 3 months & love it. Now I've ordered TurboFire and can't wait to start next week. I went all of last month on a vegan diet, and loved it. I had a downfall for about two weeks after and trying to get back into eating vegan. I'm currently looking for anyone who is motivated and makes friends easily. I log everyday, even on bad days. I encourage people to tell me when I'm doing bad, and help me get back on track. I am excited to lose the last 15 -20 lbs, and get toned up before next summer 2013! Add me everyone!

You are sooo smart to get on this track at your age! I am 58 and have learned a lot over the years. Going vegan is admirable and I wish I had the sticktuitiveness to do so. That said, I do watch my protein intake closely and like just about every food that exists. So..that makes it easier for me to stick to a plan since I love variety. Veggies are my choice over meat and I always eat them first. That way if I get full on the veggies I can forgo the protein for later. I guess what I am trying to say is that variety is the spice of life! Keeping veggies interesting by trying new ones is often helpful and fun. When I was closer to your age I made it a point to buy vegetable I had not tried each week and prepare it. The most difficult one was the artichoke, I liked the taste but preparing it was a challenge. One of the hardest things about vegan is making sure you get all the amino acids etc in your diet. So kudos to you for going this route! You will feel so much better when you reach your goal and having fun on the way is even more awesome!!0
