Licuado Banana Recovery Smoothie/Shake
Licuado Banana Recovery Smoothie
This smoothie recipe is inspired by the Mexican style banana smoothies I have had here at some local Houston, TX taquerias. Usually, they consist of milk, bananas, sugar, and cinnamon.
Marc713’s Licuado Banana Recovery Smoothie
1 banana
4 oz 1% milk (use what you have but adjust calories accordingly)
4 oz L&A Organic Pineapple Coconut Juice (you can just substitute more milk if you don’t want or have the juice)
1 scoop of Syntha 6 Vanilla Ice Cream protein powder (or use comparable vanilla or banana flavored protein)
1 cup of ice
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
Pour liquids into blender, add protein powder and cinnamon to liquid and try to avoid the sides of the blender so it doesn’t stick. Add banana and ice and blend until the ice and banana are completely blended.
This mixture nets a frothy liquid smoothie, if you want it more frozen, I suggest adding more ice, and also peeling then freezing your banana ahead of time.
Using the recipe tool here, these are the stats on my concoction:
Calories: 366
Carbs :49
Fat :8
Protein :27
