Body Revolution New Year Goal

Hello everyone,

I just received my Body Revolution in the mail yesterday and plan to start today (Oct 2nd) and finish January 1st. I have 10 more pounds to lose and definitely want to tone. I started with My Fitness Pal last year this time and have lost 10 pounds with 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30 but i have become bored and need a new challenge to get to my goal weight. I have my wedding next year to that i would like to look amazing for. :)

I would love to have a few friends to touch base with every day on progress and monthly check in's with weight and measurements. I can create a group if I get any takers.

Who's with me?

There is a group that started on October 1st if you want to join that. It is called body revolution ( Jillian Michaels). Finished
Workout 2 this morning. Hasn't been too bad yet!

Day 1 went great. Not too hard yet. :) I wonder what day 2 has in store.

Day 3 cardio not too bad, looking forward to day 4!

Anyone else doing the Body Revolution?
  • I'm with you! I'm doing an abbreviated Body Revolution rotation and will then be moving onto Chalean Extreme in late October. I'm a advanced exerciser and am usually bad at sticking to rotations, but JMBR (Jillian Michaels Body Revolution) has been so much fun! I'm skipping Phase One, doing Phase Two for 2 weeks (now in 2nd week of that) and will follow it up with Phase Three for two weeks.

I'll start checking in with you tomorrow. :)

I'm dying to start this! I ordered the set a couple weeks ago and it was lost in the mail. They have reshipped it to me and I will start as soon as i get it. I did the 30 day shred and part of Ripped in 30 (didn't love it) . . .

    Can't wait!

I plan to start on Oct. 15th after my first 5K is over. I will be a little off your schedule but am happy to support. Right now I am doing Ripped in 30 and 6 Week 6 Pack on my off running days.

FYI - I ordered my Body Rev online as well, but they had it in stock at my Target (saw it last week), ordered my Body Rev in August (and received it in a week). I would have saved on shipping if I bought it at Target.

Looking to maybe start this program...is it worth the money? I have tried her other DVDs and really like them but it's a steep price so I wanted to get some feedback. Thanks!

It is steep, but I really do like it. I'm just finishing month one and I feel stronger and I can see my mid section getting smaller. I have 30Day Shred which I also really like, but there isn't as much weight training in it. All the body builders on here would say that lifting helps burn fat (as does cardio).

I don't have a gym membership, so I figured it was like paying for a 3 month gym membership.

You could try one of her less expensive 60 day programs first?

I just started Day 1 of it today because I had to finish up Ripped in 30. After coming off week 4 of RI30, Phase 1, this morning's workout was a welcomed breather, but I still felt the burn. I'm glad I found a group of supporters on here. Here are my beginning stats:

    SW - 165.2
    Neck - 14.25"
    Bust - 39"
    Waist - 31.5"
    Hips - 41.5"
    L Thigh - 24"
    R Thigh - 25"
    L Upper Arm - 12.5"
    R Upper Arm - 13.25"
