Hi there
If I go to the gym and work out for 60 minutes. How do I know how many calories I have burnt. DOes this website work it out for me or do I need a HRM?
Many thanks

Well it really depends on what types of exercises you do. MFP will track cadio workouts at the gym (biking, running, walking, stair master, ect), but its a lot harder to track the strength training aspects of the gym (weight lifting and machine work). For a more accurate reading of how many calories you burn, I would recommend a HRM.0

No, you do not need an hrm. If you did a cardio activity, the exercise is probably listed. If did strength training, it's listed under cardio as "strength training".0
