    My favorite part of MFP is the friends list. Whenever I'm feeling down or discouraged or have a bad day, seeing my friend's progress on the news feed really helps me stay motivated. Same thing with working out. Whenever I feel like skipping a workout, I see how much all of my friends have been working out and I feel motivated.

    My advice is to make some new friends here who are dedicated to getting fit. Try to find people in all stages of the journey and especially look for people who are similar to you or who represent where you want to be.

    Just remember that you are losing weight for YOURSELF. I would write myself a letter each week telling how I felt overall, and it was amazing seeing how I felt better after I lost weight!!:happy: Good luck!
