You, your diet and your significant other

Does any one out there have advice on dealing with a significant other who wants you to indulge almost weekly but you want no part of it. My girlfriend of 5 years got mad at me tonight because she wanted take out Chinese food and I said I’ll pass.....let's just say I ended up eating Chinese food for dinner. I kept the portions in control but that damn food still put me over my goal today by about 150 calories. I suppose if it was a monthly thing that would be cool but weekly...argh!! This is more of a vent because I know I can make up for the extra calories but I wish she was more understanding.....
