Angry, very depressed, frustrated.....been working out, been watching what I eat and......gained weight. I'm just so angry. Ready to say to h_ _ _ with it. I can't do this. Tears flowing down my cheeks right now. I quit.

hun dont quit ..... try adjusting your food or workout routine .... you can do this ..... just dont give up ...you didnt gain weight over night and its not going to come off over night .... stay postive
  • Keep in mind if you've been strength training, you may have added some muscle. Give it some time and your metabolism will kick in. Keep reading the forums and find encouragement through the success of others. If they can do it, so can you! Hang in there!!!

First of all take a deep breath and don't throw in the towel! If you've been watching what you eat and exercising its a very real possibility that you've gained muscle which weighs more than fat. This journey that we're on isn't all about numbers on a scale. Are you feeling better? Are your clothes getting looser? Keep track of your measurements as well as your weight so you can see your progress even when the scale isn't going in the right direction!

Check over the reports and see if you have taken into too much sodium. It could be water retention.

You can do this. We are here for you!

Water retention could be a culprit. Are you close to your cycle? I know I fluctuate a few lbs around my time of month.

Thank you, all of you. My problem is medication that makes you gain........but it's keeping me from being sick again. Heart problems. But your kind words and advice has made me sorta want to keep on trying. My daughter is getting married in July.....I just don't want to look like this.
  • Cloe, keep on going! What you're doing - eating right, exercising, is helping you stay healthier, even at those times when you dobn't see the results on the scale. We are here for you.
